He had followed her in slowly, twiddling his thumbs shyly at her reaction. Thalion was so glad she liked it, all of his hard working obviously payed off. Because it was hard work. Honestly, he had no idea how long it took to finally get everything together. For a while, he almost stopped because Olly was so sad every time he left to work on the house. When she grabbed his face, his body stiffened, not sure what to expect. And then there was the kiss. Wings fluttered manically as he turned a dark, deep red, his whole form illuminated. Letting out a surprised gasp, he looked at her in surprise, not sure what to say.
“Okay….!” He covered her eyes with her hands. “There! Closed!” She giggled.
He let out a snicker at her enthusiasm. Once she covered his eyes, he didn’t waste time and opened a rift, carrying her through til they were in front of that big oak tree that she had chosen. “Open your eyes…” he instructed shyly. Before them was a beautifully carved door, circular and details with leaves and flowers alike, that would lead her into the tree.
She peeked out through her fingers before letting out a sort of squealing sound. She nearly fell from squirming, but she caught herself and made her way over to touch it. “It’ssodetailed! How did you do it?!!!”
Thal blushed, glowing a deep red due to her excitement. “Open it…” he hummed happily. “With a steady hand and a lot of patience.”
“What is it?” She asked flitting over to him.
Thal had a great big smile on his face, dragon fly wings fluttering joyfully. With his adrenaline, he was able to approach her confidently and pick her up bridal style, “Close your eyes… ‘kay?”

“I’ve got some great news!”

She squeezed his hand. “All of my friends are so sad or angry…. I cannot make them feel better.” She pouted, biting her lip. Olly was trying to keep her lip from wibbling. She looked up at him sadly.
He shifted his position, holding out his free arm, asking silently if she needed a hug. “Everything will be fine,” he assured, sincerely.
She hugged him tightly and pressed her face into his chest. “But if I can’t help….”
“Have faith. I’m sure they’ll work it out just fine by themselves,” he whispered, glad she accepted his silent offer, bring his hand to rest on the back of her head.
Olly frowned, her glow giving off a bluish color. “Amin dele ten’ ho.” She sat on one of the top branches of a tree.
“Olly…?” he asked, in a soft whisper. Thal hovered near her, slowly taking a seat toward her and grasping her hand gently, letting his fingers rest between her knuckles. “What’s wrong?”

Taking it slowly, he kept eye contact with her for a moment before shrugging, a sheepish smile coming across his face. Thal examined it for a moment, realizing it to be a crumbly kind of texture, bringing it up to his mouth and hesitantly scrapping his bottom teeth to it, releasing some of it to chew on. His brow raised, a pleased expression upon his face. “It’s really good,” he smiled crookedly, extending it towards her to try. “Your turn!”
“Oh good!” She grinned, taking it, doing the same sort of action. Only… this was still her second time having sugar. And it was obvious be the fact that it made her shiver and glow just a bit brighter. “It is good!” She giggled.
Thal was also affected by the small amount of sugar, but he’d had it before and was used to it’s effects. He wondered if Olly was the same. “How many times have you had processed sugar, Olly?” he asked, swallowing hard nervously.
